A contest of strength, where two teams pull on opposite ends of a rope, with the aim of pulling the opposition team across a central line to win the competition.
Competitions are held for Young Farmers, with 1st, 2nd & 3rd placements qualifying for the national finals at the Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh.
Grampian Highland Games Association Tug o’ War Championship 725kg sponsored by Trinity International Services Ltd will also take place.

1pm – Women’s Open 6-a-side commences
2pm – Men’s 680kg 8-a-side commences
3pm – 6-a-side Grampian League Competition sponsored by Trinity International Services Ltd commences
